Thanks to our long experience, raw materials from reliable suppliers, highly qualified and devoted personnel, and working with HACCP and ISO systems, we are in a position to meet any requirements of the most demanding customers.
Our fruit juice concentrates are exported to the European markets as well as to the USA, Canada and Japan.
We manufacture following juice concentrates:
- apple 65 ÷ 71 ºBx
- aronia 65 ÷ 68 ºBx
- blackcurrant 65 ÷ 68 ºBx
- sour cherry 65 ÷ 68 ºBx
- strawberry 65 ÷ 68 ºBx
- raspberry 65 ÷ 68 ºBx
On Buyer’s request we are able to prepare all juices in other concentration ratios starting from 50 ºBx.
The technological process is carried out with the use of top quality equipment from known manufacturers. We use Flottweg and Bucher-Guyer presses. Such pressed fresh juice is subjected to short pasteurization at temperatures 85 – 95 ºC that allows to keep taste and flavour values. The use of a Bucher-Guyer state-of-the-art and fully automatized ultra-filtration station guarantees obtaining very clear juice with low turbidity.
In the case of colour fruit, traditional methods are applied with Alfa Laval centrifuges and Padovan (Italy) vacuum and pressure filters. The concentration process is a very important stage of production. It runs in under-pressure conditions and causes a drop in the temperatures that work on the passing juice, which is essential for preservation of natural colour of juices. Such conditions can be maintained thanks to our two Manzini stations and a modern plate evaporator (Wiegand).
All our products undergo very accurate inter-operational supervision and a final inner laboratory control with the use of specific, high-class precision measurement and control instruments. We test organoleptic properties, physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of juices.
Our juice concentrates are stored in stainless steel tanks in the warehouse wherein the temperature is controlled and kept between
0 and +4 ºC.
We have means to standardize juices as well as a ramp whereon to load cistern and barrels under rigorous hygienic conditions.
Aromas
Natural fruit aromas top up very nicely the assortment of HORTINO juice concentrates on offer. Obtained from freshly pressed juice they keep the genuine fruit flavour note, and their concentration ratio (from 1:100 to 1:200) allows, while maintaining rational use, to obtain any aromatic strength of the final products, primarily in fruit beverages.
